I am sorry, Max!

Ikebukuro is my ex-working place. It`s located northern part of Tokyo and is so called "entrance of Saitama prefecture" because a lot of rail roads are running from Ikebukuro to Saitama prefecture. Last weekend, I had a meeting with my bad friend and went to a Chinese restaurant which is near by north exit of Ikebukuro station. Recently Ikebukuro is famous for the Chinese community that includes Chinese grocery stores and restaurants. When we were hanging around in Ikebukuro my bad friend said to me "I read an article that there is a restaurant which serves dog meat around here, so what do you say?", The restaurant`s entrance was on a tiny alleyway and we went down a staircase to the basement. I asked to a restaurant staff "Do you serve dog meat?" and he said "Yes, sir". The dog meat we ordered was a spicy soup with chopped dog meat. At first the dog meat had the flavour I`ve never experienced but after a couple of scoops I began to get use to it. This time I can`t rate this restaurant properly so no rate. If you were interested in dog meat, why don`t you go to Ikebukuro?

Hey Yoko-san How are you doing?, What a nice surprise to hear from you! Yes, I went to the dog meat restaurant after I visited Ikebukuro-nishi-shcool voice. It was a shame I couldn't stay there long enough but I enjoyed the voice. If you were interested in that restaurant, I recommend you to search 知音食堂 around the north exit of Ikebukuro station. The restaurant we went was next door basement.(but I forgot the name sorry). And also I recommend 知音食堂 as well, because it is quite famous Chinese restaurant in Ikebukuro, cheap and yummy. Anyway I hope to see you again, and plz say Hi to your hubby! Cheers

Hi, Ken. I'm John Mackin and live near Kawasaki station. I came here from your food blog, which I learned about today. Yes, Himalaya is the best Indian restaurant in Kawasaki. Note that the Korean restaurant Ryu-en is a minute away from the Kawasaki-Shin-Machi station on the Hama-Kawasaki part of the Nambu line. Go to the Woodstock bar (4th floor on the left a bit after the Free Bird bar) for the best hamburgers in Japan, huge and juicy.

Hi, Ken. My last comment was incomplete. Woodstock in near the end of Naka-Mise dori past Isago dori. Recommendations: Passing Isago dori on Naka-Mise, on the left, 2nd F, is Classy's reggai bar (food is actually good but varies by cook) and on the right is Ki-no-E (Oden, expensive but very good). Continuing much farther down the street: Free Bird bar on the right for exotic Scotch malts, ones you won't find anywhere else. Then on the left, 4F, is Woodstock for easy Rock, beer, and the best hamburger in Japan. (If at Isago dori, you turn left rather than continuing up, then turn right at the next street and on the left you will see Pianissimo, Kawasaki's only live Jazz club. Food is ok but you go there for the jazz.
